VOLUNTEER

Volunteers provides a range of support activities. The goal of the position is to assist in successful operations of the missions of CCHRE in order to ensure that projects achieve funding targets.
QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of a coordinated fundraising program.
  • Solicitations of Corporate Sponsors for financial gifts and gifts in kind donation
  • Serve as an ambassador for the organization and promotes a positive image/reputation of the Centre.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF VOLUNTEER
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Good listening skills
  • Available by phone and Internet (e-mails)
  • No previous felony convictions: subject to criminal background check
BENEFITS
Though volunteers are not salaried staff, they are provided with stipends during the lifespan of any project being executed. Where opportunity avails it self, volunteers are nominated based on commitment to go for Exchange Programs. Also vital is the ongoing training and skills development volunteers receive to become valuable advocate for human rights during their service time.
